Mark is and has been involved with various influential organisations, including:
Former Director of the Anglers' Conservation Association (ACA) for many years until its transformation into Fish Legal, and the Angling Trust, also serving on the Moran Committee in that time
Mark is also an Ambassador and an Honorary Consultant to the Angling Trust
Today, Mark is science advisor to Salmon and Trout Conservation UK
Mark was a founding Director of the Bristol Avon Rivers Trust, now no longer a director but still offering support
Mark is also Vice-President and former Chairman of the Institution of Environmental Sciences
He is also a Fellow of the Linnean Society
Mark continues to contribute to fishery conferences and to various public meetings and presentations.
